Printing Attachments with Mail Print

Mail Print relies on installed applications such as Word or Acrobat to print attachments, this document lists some of the special cases which will need extra configuration or software. If you come across a file type you are having problems with please let us know and we can add it to the list.

PDF Files

To print PDF files you need either Acrobat Reader or Adobe Acrobat installed. Both will work although we have found Adobe Acrobat to be more reliable.

EFX (EFax) Files

EFax sends received faxes as a bespoke EFX file and supplies a reader for these files called Messenger. In order to be able to print these files automatically you must install Messenger Plus instead of the standard Messenger.
