Printing Attachments

I have downloaded the trial version.

When I send attachments .doc .xls .bmp they do not print. I set up doc and xls in the raw print section of the options and .bmp is checked in image files.

What am I doing wrong??

Raw print documents are documents which the printer can understand directly such as PCL or PostScript format. You shouldn't have .doc or .xls in the list of raw file types.

To be able to print doc and xls you must have Word and Excel installed, Mail Print can't print them on their own.

Thanks for the reply, I have word and excel installed but when I check for new mail it only prints the email not the attachment. Is it supposed to start word if it is a .doc? It does not do that now...

Make sure the account settings are configured to print both the body and attachments, just doible click on the account and there is a selection for what to print.

If this doesn't solve your problem can you check for any error messages in the log window. Also you might want to upgrade to the current beta release on our web site, it has some enhancements associated with printing attachments.
